Market in the Park Starts Monday, July 6th
The Anamoose Market in the Park committee met tonight at Bonnie Dockter’s home. The Market will start Monday, July 6th from 6-8pm. No merchandise will be sold before 6pm. The Anamoose Cafe/Bakery will be selling $1 hamburgers plus pop & chips on the first Monday in July & August.
A $500 grant was received from the ND Farmer’s Market Growers Association & a $500 grant from CONAC (Center of North America Coalition for Rural Development). Pictured is myself (McHenry County representative) presenting Bonnie Dockter with a check. Bonnie said she is hoping to get money from the Civic Club gaming fund for a sign on Maurie Becker’s smaller building down by the highway.
HAV-IT workers sewed aprons for vendors, & cloth bags that wil be sold for 50 cents. Pam Heim drew the logo that will be on the aprons & bags.
